Description
Overview
The Big Hairy Guitars ADA MP-1 Tone Collection is a specialized library for the IK Multimedia TONEX platform, meticulously designed to recreate the harmonic depth and aggressive character of the legendary ADA MP-1 preamp. This collection provides guitarists and producers with 16 high-fidelity tone models that capture the essence of one of the most influential preamps in rock history.
To ensure maximum accuracy, every tone in this collection was captured direct from the preamp through an API desk and Lynx Aurora (n) converters. This high-end signal chain preserves every nuance of the original hardware, offering a professional-grade recreation of the preamp’s unique saturation and response.
Key Details
- 16 Precision Tone Models: A diverse array of captures based on the ADA MP-1, covering a wide spectrum of gain stages and textures.

- Iconic Artist Tones: Includes captures inspired by the sounds of Nuno Bettencourt, Vito Bratta, Metallica, Skid Row, and other legendary artists.
