The BHS 4×12 Powered V is a professional SuperCabinet IR Library designed to bring the authentic, road-worn sound of a legendary touring rig directly into your digital studio. Created by Michael Nielsen of BHS, this library captures a seasoned 4×12″ cabinet loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers—the exact model used on Steve Vai’s iconic Eat Em and Smile and Skyscraper tours.

Unlike standard impulse response libraries, the BHS 4×12 Powered V utilizes Powered IRs. This means the cabinet was captured through four distinct, legendary guitar power amps, providing the specific harmonic flavor, headroom, and punch associated with high-end rack gear. With 18 microphones and 16 positions per mic across four power amps, this library delivers a massive total of 1,152 high-resolution IRs.
