- Diplomat Series Construction: Engineered for a balanced sound profile that offers a blend of resonance and control.
- Precision Fit: Specifically sized at 18″ diameter to ensure a secure, airtight seal on compatible bass drums.
- Enhanced Stability: Designed to maintain tuning stability over longer playing sessions and varying environmental conditions.
Use Cases
- Studio Recording: Perfect for engineers and drummers who need a controlled, warm bass thump that is easier to mix.
- Live Performance: Ideal for genres requiring a punchy, focused low end that cuts through the mix without excessive overtones.
- Hybrid Kits: A great fit for smaller bass drums or cocktail kits where a deep, rich tone is required from a compact shell.
Installation
To install the Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn head, ensure the drum shell bearing edge is clean and free of debris. Place the head onto the shell and insert the tension rods. Tighten the lugs in a cross-pattern (star pattern) to ensure even tension across the head. Tune to your preferred pitch, ensuring the Fiberskyn layer is seated evenly for maximum resonance and stability.
