Installation
To install the Chrome Starfire head, ensure the bass drum shell is clean and free of debris. Place the head over the bearing edge, ensuring it is centered. Use a drum key to tighten the tension rods in a cross-pattern (star pattern) to ensure even pressure across the head. Tune to your preferred pitch, keeping in mind that the chrome coating provides a distinct tension feel compared to standard clear or coated heads.
