Key Details
- Ambassador Series: Engineered for a balanced tone with a clear, open response that maintains the natural character of the drum.
- Ebony Finish: A professional black coating that provides a modern, polished look for stage and studio environments.
- Integrated Muffling: Includes a pre-installed 5-inch Black Dynamo ring to reduce unwanted overtones and tighten the bass punch.
- Precision Fit: Specifically sized at 18 inches to ensure a secure seal and consistent tension across the shell.
Use Cases
- Studio Recording: Ideal for engineers and drummers who need a controlled, “dry” bass drum sound that is easier to mix without excessive boom.

Installation
Installation is straightforward for any drummer familiar with head replacement. Ensure the bass drum shell is clean and free of debris. Place the Remo Ambassador Ebony head over the bearing edge, ensuring the pre-installed Black Dynamo ring is centered. Tighten the tension rods in a cross-pattern sequence to ensure even pressure across the head, tuning to your preferred pitch and tension.
