Bark24 | Dyn is an advanced 24-band dynamics processor built on the Bark scale — a psychoacoustic model of how humans actually perceive sound. Rather than applying one dynamic gain across the whole signal like a traditional compressor, Bark24 | Dyn gives you independent Limit, Gate, Expand, and UpComp processing across 24 perceptually-tuned frequency bands, so changes are easier to hear and far more musical than what conventional multiband compression or dynamic EQ can deliver.

Because the bands follow how your ears group sound rather than an arbitrary frequency split, Bark24 | Dyn takes the guesswork out of shaping timbre. Use it as a problem-solver — taming resonances, correcting intermittent frequency-specific issues, or tightening an overly busy mix bus — or as a creative tool for discovering entirely new textures hidden inside a sound. Producers and engineers use it to add body and bite to guitars and synths, pull up low-level detail with upward compression for one-of-a-kind sonic character, tighten drum busses, and breathe new life into old stems and mixes.

Version 1.1 adds smart workflow upgrades: Auto Threshold, Gain, and Output adapt automatically to your incoming signal, and multi-band selection lets you edit several bands at once as a group.

Combined with linear phase filters, three filter slopes, ±48dB of gain per band, four metering modes with 3D visualization, per-band Solo/Mute, full MIDI control, and Wet/Dry mix, Bark24 | Dyn gives mixing engineers, sound designers, and producers a genuinely new way to hear and reshape their tracks — from surgical correction to wild, mangled chaos, and everything in between.
