APU TrueGain is digital software that combines gain changes with equal-loudness compensation. Its Adaptive SPL function updates the compensation as the input level changes.

• Calibrate the processor to your monitoring setup.
• Use compensated gain, compensated automatic gain control, or ordinary gain control.
• Check predicted tonal changes at a different listening level.

The translation check approximates level-dependent hearing; it does not simulate a particular room or playback system.
