By replacing the traditional copper-heavy coil with an aluminum water-jet cut exoskeleton mated to a micro-winding, Lace Music Products has created a low-impedance/high-impedance system. This results in significantly less resistance and higher output compared to conventional voltage-based pickups, providing a massive sonic upgrade for high-gain environments.
