The Gibraltar 9000 Series Neoprene Round Throne serves as the critical foundation of your drumming setup. Recognizing that the throne is the most important component for player ergonomics, Gibraltar has engineered the Neo series to provide a superior balance of plush comfort and structural support. By combining advanced materials with a heavy-duty base, this throne ensures that drummers can maintain peak performance during long sessions without sacrificing stability.
Key Details
- Advanced Neoprene Surface: The seat is covered in a high-grade neoprene layer—the same material utilized in diving suits—providing a durable, grippy, and comfortable surface.
- Dual-Layer Cushioning: Beneath the neoprene is a high-density memory foam base, modeled after the ergonomics of a bicycle seat to deliver a cushy yet supportive feel.
- 9000 Series Foundation: Built upon Gibraltar’s rock-solid 9000 series base, offering maximum stability and weight capacity for professional use.
- Wing Nut Memory Lock: Features a height-adjust memory lock that utilizes a wing nut, allowing for rapid height changes without the need for a traditional drum key.
Use Cases
- Professional Touring: Ideal for drummers who require a reliable, heavy-duty base that can withstand frequent transport and assembly.
- Extended Studio Sessions: The memory foam and neoprene combination reduces fatigue during long recording dates.
- Ergonomic Optimization: Perfect for players seeking a supportive seat that prevents sliding and maintains a consistent posture.
Installation
Setup is straightforward and tool-free. Simply extend the tripod legs to your desired height and tighten the wing nut to secure the memory lock. The intuitive locking mechanism allows you to mark your preferred height, ensuring you can return to your exact setting quickly between different venues or setups.
