Description
Overview
The Vater 7A Stretch Drum Sticks provide a specialized solution for drummers who require the lightweight feel and agility of a 7A stick but need additional reach. By extending the length of the traditional 7A profile, these sticks allow for a more comfortable reach across larger kits or a more expansive stroke without sacrificing the precision and speed associated with thinner sticks.
Key Details
- Extended Reach: Specifically designed as a “Stretch” model to provide more length than a standard 7A, aiding in ergonomics and reach.
- 7A Profile: Maintains the slim diameter characteristic of 7A sticks, ideal for light playing, jazz, and nuanced percussion work.
- Professional Balance: Engineered by Vater Percussion to ensure that the added length does not compromise the balance or feel of the stick.
- Physical Specifications: Each stick measures 17 inches in length with a slim 1-inch width profile.
Use Cases
- Large Kit Configurations: Perfect for drummers with wide-set cymbals or deep tom placements who find standard sticks too short.
- Light Dynamic Performance: Ideal for jazz, acoustic sets, or studio recording where a lighter touch and faster response are required.
- Ergonomic Adjustment: A great choice for drummers with larger hands or those who prefer a longer lever for increased velocity and reach.
Installation
No installation is required. These are ready-to-use physical drum sticks. For optimal performance, ensure you select the grip style (matched or traditional) that best complements the extended length of the Stretch series.
Compatibility
These sticks are compatible with all standard acoustic drum kits, electronic drum pads, and percussion instruments. They are particularly suited for players who typically use 7A sticks but require a longer reach.
