Description
Overview
The IQ Plus 7″ Claves are traditional percussion instruments crafted from Rosewood, designed to deliver the sharp, penetrating rhythmic clarity essential for a wide variety of musical styles. Rooted in Cuban tradition, where they served as the rhythmic heartbeat for dock workers in Havana, these claves act as a fundamental guide for the rest of the ensemble, organizing the rhythmic accompaniment of a piece.
Whether used for professional performance or as an introductory instrument for students, these claves provide a tactile and intuitive way to explore timing, modulation, and rhythmic patterns. Their simple yet effective design makes them a universal tool for musicians across various genres.
