Description
Overview
The Tycoon 32 Series DOHC Cajon is a sophisticated percussion instrument designed for players who require a broader sonic palette than a standard single-chamber box drum. Featuring a unique Dual Output High Contrast (DOHC) design, this cajon utilizes two separate internal chambers and dedicated sound holes to deliver a versatile range of tones, from deep, resonant bass to sharp, articulate snare hits.
Built with a commitment to quality and sustainability, the body and front plate are crafted from environmentally-friendly Siam oak wood, ensuring a rich organic timbre and long-term durability for both studio and stage environments.
Key Details
- Dual Chamber Design: Two independent internal chambers allow for a distinct separation of frequencies, providing a high-contrast sound profile.
- Siam Oak Construction: The use of premium Siam oak for the body and striking surface delivers a professional, warm tone with excellent projection.
- Enhanced Stability: Equipped with four integrated rubber feet to prevent slipping and protect the instrument’s base during aggressive playing.
- Versatile Tonal Range: Engineered to produce both deep, traditional bass notes and crisp, tight snare slaps within a single unit.
Use Cases
- Acoustic Accompaniment: Ideal for singer-songwriters and unplugged sessions where a full drum kit is impractical but a rich bass and snare response are required.
- Genre Versatility: Perfect for Flamenco, Pop, Folk, and Jazz performers who need to switch quickly between deep low-end pulses and sharp rhythmic accents.
- Street Performing: The portable, all-in-one design and stable rubber feet make it a reliable choice for busking and outdoor performances.
Installation
The Tycoon 32 Series DOHC Cajon is a ready-to-play instrument and requires no assembly. Simply place the unit on a flat surface, ensuring the rubber feet are making full contact with the floor for maximum stability. To optimize sound, ensure the sound holes are not obstructed by carpets or equipment.
