Overview
The Tycoon Supremo Select Cajon in Lava Wood Finish is a premium entry-level percussion instrument designed for those who want professional-grade build quality without the steep price tag. Key Details
- Eco-Friendly Construction: The body is crafted from sustainable Siam Oak Wood, providing a sturdy foundation and a resonant chamber for deep bass tones.
- Exotic Tonal Response: Features a front plate made from exotic Asian hardwood, specifically selected to deliver a crisp, superb tonal response across the playing surface.
- Hand-Assembled Quality: Each unit is assembled by hand and individually tested to ensure optimal sound quality and structural integrity before leaving the factory.
- Customizable Snap: Includes an adjustable snare system that can be fine-tuned using the provided allen wrench to achieve your preferred level of brightness and “buzz.”
- Striking Aesthetics: The Lava Wood finish offers a modern, unique look that stands out on stage or in the studio.
Use Cases
- Beginner Percussion: An accessible, high-value starting point for those learning hand percussion.
- Acoustic Accompaniment: Perfect for unplugged sessions, singer-songwriter accompaniment, or street performing due to its portability and punchy sound.
- Genre Versatility: Capable of producing the deep lows and sharp highs required for Flamenco, Pop, Rock, and Folk styles.
Installation
The Supremo Select Cajon arrives ready to play. To customize the snare response, use the included allen wrench to adjust the tension of the snare wires against the front plate. Tightening the wires increases the “snap” of the high end, while loosening them provides a warmer, more open tone.
Compatibility
This is a standalone acoustic percussion instrument. It is compatible with standard cajon accessories, including optional carrying bags and stands (sold separately).
