Description
Overview
The Gibraltar Stealth Docking Station Frame offers a modern, streamlined alternative to the traditional front drum rack. Specifically engineered to accommodate bass drums up to 24″, this U-shaped mounting system provides a stunning visual frame for your kit while granting the player unlimited positioning and mounting flexibility.
Whether you are looking to upgrade a stock electronic rack or seeking a custom mounting solution for an acoustic set, the Stealth Docking Station eliminates the clutter of multiple floor tripods. By omitting two of the cross-connector clamps found in standard racks, this system remains lightweight and highly portable without sacrificing stability.
Key Details
- U-Shaped Design: Features a 1.5″ diameter bar that discretely hugs the bass drum, avoiding the bulky aesthetic of traditional cross bars.
- Enhanced Portability: Low-profile construction and reduced clamp count make it significantly easier to transport than full-sized racks.
- Customizable Expansion: Fully compatible with other Gibraltar hardware, allowing you to easily add more drums and cymbals to your configuration.
- Clutter Reduction: Moves hardware off the floor, removing tripod interference and creating a cleaner stage presence.
- Included Hardware: Comes equipped with one standard multi-clamp to begin your custom setup.
Use Cases
- Electronic Kit Upgrades: An ideal replacement for players wanting to move away from restrictive stock electronic racks for better ergonomics.
- Acoustic Customization: Perfect for acoustic drummers who want a “rack-style” setup for toms and cymbals without the massive footprint of a traditional rack.
- Hybrid Setups: Provides a stable, centralized mounting point for mixing acoustic shells with electronic pads and triggers.
Installation
The Stealth Docking Station is designed for straightforward assembly. The U-shaped frame is positioned to surround the bass drum, providing a secure anchor point. Once the frame is in place, use the included multi-clamp and additional Gibraltar Stealth accessories to mount your drums and cymbals at your preferred angles and heights.
Compatibility
- Bass Drum Size: Compatible with bass drums up to 24″ in diameter.
- Hardware Ecosystem: Works seamlessly with other Gibraltar Stealth Series legless snare stand accessories and standard Gibraltar mounting hardware.
