The Dundunba arrives as a physical instrument requiring minimal setup. To ensure optimal performance, users should:
- Inspect the non-stretch rope tension to ensure the head is seated firmly against the triple-ring system.
- Adjust the rope tensioning to achieve the desired pitch, utilizing the rings to lock the tuning in place.
- Position the drum on a stable surface or stand to allow the Siam oak shell to resonate freely.
