Key Details
- Premium Shell Construction: Crafted from high-quality stainless steel with a brushed chrome plated finish for maximum projection and a brilliant aesthetic.
- Optimized Dimensions: Features a matched pair of 14″ and 15″ diameter shells, both with a 6-1/2″ depth to balance punch and sustain.
- Precision Tuning: Engineered for stability and ease of adjustment, allowing players to dial in the exact pitch required for their genre.
- Complete Hardware Suite: Includes a heavy-duty, fully height-adjustable tilting stand that ensures ergonomic positioning during live play.
Use Cases
These timbales are ideal for musicians performing in Salsa, Mambo, and Latin Jazz ensembles where a piercing, metallic timbre is essential to cut through a loud horn section. They are equally suited for educational settings, providing intermediate students with a professional-feeling instrument that handles the rigors of practice and stage use.
Installation
Setup is straightforward and designed for quick deployment. Assemble the heavy-duty tilting stand first, then secure the 14″ and 15″ shells to the mounts. Use the included tuning wrench to tension the heads evenly. The integrated cowbell mounting bracket allows for the rapid attachment of the included Tycoon Percussion TW-60 cowbell, completing the percussion station.
Compatibility
This set is designed for use with standard timbale sticks (pair included). The tilting stand is compatible with most standard stage footprints and can be adjusted to accommodate various player heights and seating arrangements.
