Description
Overview
The Drum N Base #1 Drum Mat is engineered to be the most functional surface for drummers, combining extreme stability with unprecedented portability. Designed to eliminate the common frustrations of traditional carpet mats, this professional-grade mat ensures your drum kit remains solid as a rock during the most intense performances, preventing hardware creep and pedal slide.
Key Details
- Double Anti-Slip Technology: Featuring identical high-grip material on both the top and bottom surfaces, providing a dual-layer lock between your hardware and the floor.
- Ultra-Thin Profile: At only 1.2mm thick, it provides a low-profile foundation that doesn’t create a tripping hazard or add unnecessary bulk to your gear.
- Weather and Dirt Resistant: The specialized material is water-resistant and does not absorb dirt, making it easy to clean and maintain in dusty or outdoor environments.
- High Portability: Unlike traditional bulky carpet rolls, the Drum N Base mat is highly flexible, allowing it to be folded or packed into existing cases and bags.
Use Cases
- Live Performance: Ideal for gigging drummers who need a reliable, non-slip surface that can be deployed quickly on various stage floors.
- Studio Recording: Provides a stable base for heavy hardware while remaining thin enough to avoid interfering with room acoustics or floor-mounted mics.
- Touring: Perfect for musicians with limited transport space who require a professional mat that fits into a standard gear bag.
Installation
Setup is instantaneous. Simply unfold the mat on a flat surface and position your drum kit on top. Because of the double-sided anti-slip material, no adhesives or additional fasteners are required to keep the mat or the drums in place.
Compatibility
The Drum N Base #1 Drum Mat is universally compatible with all drum kit brands, hardware types, and floor surfaces, including polished wood, concrete, and tile.
