Description

HarmonEQ is a harmonic exciter plugin that adds musical harmonics andsaturation to your audio. Unlike traditional equalizers that simply boostor cut frequencies, HarmonEQ creates perceived loudness and presencewithout significant peak level increase.Three parallel harmonic bands (LO shelf, MID peak, HI shelf) eachextract their frequency content, apply harmonic generation through one ofsix selectable saturation types, then sum back with the dry signal. Theparallel architecture means bands interact musically rather thancascading, preserving natural tonal balance.Dual-channel Stereo and Mid-Side processing modes let you shape mono andstereo content independently. Add warmth to Mid, air to Side, orprocess linked stereo with a single set of controls. Each channel has itsown input/output gain, three EQ bands, progressive-slope cut filters, anda full dynamics section with Expand, Compress, and Transient shaping thatcan be selectively applied to LO, MID, or HI frequency bands.Six per-band saturation types (MAIN, TUBE, WARM, SOLID, TAPE, CLEAN)give each band its own harmonic character, from the signature smoothMAIN inflator curve to punchy TAPE compression and transparent CLEANmode. Mix and match across bands for endless tonal combinations.The selectable Quality mode (Normal / Medium / Best) provides 1×, 2×,or 4× oversampling with Kaiser-windowed FIR anti-alias filtering forpristine saturation at any drive level. The unique De-Emphasis modeisolates only the added harmonic content for subtle enhancement, whilethe automatic Scoop control reduces low-mid muddiness proportional toyour boost settings. Clip 0dB provides soft-clipping followed byhard-limiting to prevent digital overs, and the x2 switch doubles allband intensities for more aggressive harmonic content.With phase-aligned dry/wet mixing, automatic latency compensation, anda clean signal path from input to output, HarmonEQ delivers the warmth,presence, and dimension of analog outboard in a modern, precise plugin.
